Day1: CHIANG KONG – HOUAY XAI – PAK BENG
After breakfast you will cross the Mekong River to Laos and your tour guide will meet you and help you to complete your immigration form.
You will then take a private boat cruise down the mighty Mekong, with stops at Hmong tribe villages. Lunch on the boat and continue to Pak Beng.
Arrive at Pak Beng before sunset

Day 2: PAKBENG – PAK OU CAVE – LUANG PRABANG
Breakfast at your hotel
At 8:30 am, the boat leaves Pak Beng. On the way, lunch is served on board and there are two stops: first, a visit to Pak Ou caves (Tham Ting) and its thousands of Buddha images, then go to Ban Xang Hai, a Lao Lao whiskey village.
Arrive at Luang Prabang at 4:30 pm and transfer to your hotel for check in.
Dinner by own account.
Accommodation in Luang Prabang.

Day 3: LUANG PRABANG
Breakfast at your hotel, then continue your tour with a visit to Wat Xiengthong.
This wat further emphasizes the uniqueness of Luang Prabang, with its several roofs sweeping low to the ground, and its impressive classical tree of life.
After, visit the exhibition hill tribe museum, and the Royal Palace where you will find a collection of gifts from around the world and other items of interest preserved from this world heritage town.
After lunch you are driven for about an hour to Kwangsi waterfall. On the way, stop and see the film ‘UXO’ about the 1964-1973 war in this region. Kwangsi waterfall is the best in south-east Asia, with butterflies, tropical plants and flowers, and a great spot for swimming.
Then back to town for relaxation.

Day 4: FREE DAY

Day 5: LUANG PRABANG – NONG KIAW
After breakfast you continue your leg to Nong Kiaw. On the way, stop at Ban Houay Lueng, home of the Kmu tribe. The Kmu are originally from Indonesia, and live about 1000 meters above sea level. Visit Ban Nam Bark to see orange trees, tobacco and tropical plants growing, and after that head to Nong Kiaw, arriving before sunset.
Overnight at Nong Kiaw.

Day 6: NONG KAIW – BAN MIENG NGOI – SOP CHEM
After breakfast you will start with a visit to Pha Ted Lao cave (thumpa toad). Walk through rice fields and continue to Ban Sop Chem, a protected area with mountain valleys and green forests. Watch fishermen along the Nam Ou river. On the way back, enjoy with sunset and the million-dollar view.
Overnight at Nong Kiaw.

Day 7: NONG KIAW – XAMNUE
After breakfast you take a long journey for about 10 hours to Xamnue.
You will see the local markets along the way and some tribal villages. Stop for a visit and take the opportunity for some great photos.
Lunch at a local restaurant, then travel straight ahead past Phou Lueay where large forests are home to many wild animals.
You arrive in Xamnue before sunset check-in.

Day 8: XAMNUE – ViENG SAI

After breakfast at your hotel, you go to Mueng Vieng Sai to visit the six caves where the head leader in Laos lived from 1962 to 1975. It was in these years that Laos became caught up in the ‘secret war’ which remains largely ignored in world histories. The caves were used to house the leader and fighters of the Pathet Lao army.
Then head back to Xamnue, but you might enjoy a ride in a boat through caves where you will see the best stalagmites and stalactites, and visit
weaving villages which offer textiles of great quality.
Back at Xamnue, there’s time to relax.

Day 9: XAMNUE –XIENG KWANG – PHONSAVAN
After breakfast you leave Xamnue and drive towards Xieng Kwang. The journey offers beautiful scenery where the flora on the top of the hills differs from the lowlands. You will visit the prehistoric site Pha Hintang which is considered to be the oldest archeological site in Laos.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit a Hmong tribe, and the Thum Pew cave, where 374 people were killed in a bombing raid in 1968. After that, head to Phonsavan. Stay overnight.

Day 10: PHONSAVAN
After breakfast, you will take your private van to visit the Plain of Jars with monolithic sites numbers 1,2, and 3. Then drive to Mueng Koun
Mueng Koun was the one of the oldest towns and the ancient Thai Phuan capital destroyed during the second Indochina war.
Return to your hotel and relax.
Overnight in Phonsavan

Day 11: XING KWANG -VANG VIENG
Breakfast at your hotel and then a drive to Vang Vieng.
On the way, see beautiful mountain valley views, as you travel on this busy and winding road. You will stop at Phou Koun to see the market and happy room(w.c) The second stop is at Pou Fa, which is just great to take some photos of the fantastic view. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Arrive in Vang Vieng before sunset, and relax.

Day 12: VANG VIENG – VIENTIANE
After breakfast, enjoy visiting Thumjung cave, the best cave to see amazing stalagmites and stalactites. Than take a motorboat cruise up the lovely Nam Song river for great views of Vang Vieng, and arrive at an organic farm where our driver will pick you up.
After lunch, you will travel for about three hours to the Laos capital city of Vientiane. Check-in and relax.

Day 13: VIENTIANE
After breakfast, tour Vientiane, the capital of Laos. Visit Wat Sisaket, the oldest and most beautiful temple in Vientiane, and Ho Prakeo, a royal temple turned museum. Visit that Luang Stupa, the most revered shrine in Laos, and stop at Patouxay (the Arch of Triumph). Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to wat Xieng Kuan – a combined Hindu and Buddhism zone, and then back to your hotel to relax.

Day 14: VIENTIANE – PAKSE – CHAMPASAK – KIET NGONG
Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the airport for check-in and departure by flight to PAKSE – QV 301 11:20 – 12:10 pm. Upon arrival in Pakse, have lunch at a local restaurant . Drive to visit Wat Phou , the ruin Khmer temple ruins from the 8th to 11th century, and a local museum. Arrive at Kiet Ngong in time for dinner after check-in at your hotel.

Day 15: KIET NGONG – HALF DAY FOREST TREKING OR BIRD WATCHING. Breakfast at your lodge. Kingfisher Eco lodge can organize a shorter version of the one day trekking around Phou Asa Mountain. The trail will bring you inside a tropical forest that covers the surrounding area of this archaeological site. A village guide helped by our English-speaking guide will teach you about its many medicinal plants and non-timber forest products, and point out signs of wildlife (tracks, scat and habits) and other features of the forest.
The hike will start from Kingfisher Eco Lodge at around 8 am and will end at the same place at around 11: 30 am In the case of bird watching, the activity will start at 6 am and will end at around 9 – 9:30 am.
In the afternoon you can make your own leisurely visit to Phou Asa.
Lunch and dinner by your own account. Accommodation at your hotel.

Day 16: KIET NGONG – KHONG ISLAND
Breakfast at your hotel. Drive to the mighty Khon Phapeng waterfall at the southern tip of Laos. Continue to the port for a ferry boat to Don Det. Cross the French railway bridge linking Don Khon and Don Det and see the old locomotive. Walk, or cycle, or use a tuk tuk. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue by road and accommodation at your hotel.

Day 17: KHONG ISLAND – BOLAVEN PLATEAU -TAD FAN LODGE
After breakfast, continue your trip to Bolaven Plateau, where you will see coffee plantations, a hill tribe museum, and great waterfalls Tad Soam and Tad Fan. After that head to Tad Fan Lodge.
Overnight at Tad Fan Lodge.

Day 18: TAD FAN LODGE – PAKZE
After break fast our guide and van will transfer you to the airport, or Ubon Ratchathani. This is the end of our services.
